What will you do? We’re Hiring a Data Scientist in Nielsen

As a Data Scientist at Nielsen, you will:

Build measurement and planning solutions for publishers, advertisers, and agencies.
Support end-to-end reproducible data science projects.
Deploy and maintain data pipelines and models in a production environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionize, validate, and optimize methodologies.
Communicate methodology and research findings to diverse audiences.
Support research on methodology changes for cross-platform audience measurement.
Explore data, perform variable identification, clean data, apply dimension reduction techniques, calculate distances, and integrate surveys.
Utilize output evaluation techniques to ensure accuracy.
Address quality escapes and resolve issues in production code.
Document new methodologies and code.

Is this for you?

We are looking for candidates with: We’re Hiring a Data Scientist in Nielsen

0-3 years of work experience.
Proficiency in Python, Spark, SQL.
A degree in data science, statistics, engineering, applied mathematics, operations research, information sciences, or another biological/physical science.
Strong code documentation skills.
Proficiency in Git and code versioning tools (Gitlab).
Proficiency in Atlassian Suite such as JIRA and Confluence.
Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Google Cloud preferred).
Knowledge of statistics and machine learning.
Ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
Knowledge of dashboarding and visualization tools like Spotfire/Tableau.

Business Skills:We’re Hiring a Data Scientist in Nielsen

Excellent oral and written communication.
Self-motivation and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with other team members, including remotely.
