In this intern conversion requisition for 2023 PayPal Interns, you will join a team of engineers that solve complex technical challenges in connected payments across various business units including PayPal, Braintree, Venmo, Paydiant, and others. You’ll have opportunities in areas such as development, design, search, platform, test, quality, big data, front-end, and back-end. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies to push our technology forward with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer, you will:
- Code high-volume and scalable software, either on the front-end or back-end.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in design, product, and other business units.
- Contribute to creating new user-facing experiences and improving existing products.
- Lead the implementation and facilitation of client workshops and presentations.
- Work on building and developing new user experiences.
PayPal Eligibility Criteria
- Strong applied experience in building and breaking software applications.
- Working knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX).
- Familiarity with technologies like Node.js applications, Java, C++, Python.
- Understanding of concepts like Web Services, SOA, REST APIs.
- A constant desire to learn, grow, and explore new things.
University Graduate Position Information and Requirements:
- This position is for university graduates graduating in 2024 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
