As a Quality Control Specialist, you will focus on performing tests (eg NDT) and defining controls (eg SPC). Ensure correct alignment with quality requirements. Ensure that manufactured or procured products meet specified standards before they progress to the next phase of production or customer delivery. (Verification/Checking). Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.
 

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for:
 

• Providing QC set-up and support in tendering and execution phases of Engineering Procure Construct.
• Overseeing fulfilment of contractual and regulatory requirements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Capture lessons learned to continually improve execution processes.
• Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.
• Detecting and signalling flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements.
• Contributing to the project as a team member.
• Recording all tool and equipment usage, refurbishment, assembly, testing and disposition to track and maintain

To be successful in this role you will:
 

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent level of education
• Have solid experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Controller-ship
• Be able to ensure all customer reports are issued and resolved in a timely fashion
• Have a deep understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Health, Safety and Environmental practices
• Be a good team player and display good communication and problem-solving skills
• Be able to perform additional work-scopes as required to assist your team and customers daily operations
