About the job

• Proficient in Python| GCP tools such as Vertex AI

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement machine learning applications and solutions using GCP tools such as Vertex AI
• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to build robust data pipelines and machine learning models.
• Optimize data storage and processing architectures for machine learning purposes using Google Cloud services like Dataflow and Pub/Sub.
• Deploy machine learning algorithms into production using containers and microservices on GCP’s Kubernetes Engine or Cloud Run.
• Monitor, maintain, and update models in production to ensure performance and accuracy.
• Conduct A/B tests and ongoing validation of models to ensure effectiveness.
• Utilize GCP’s security and privacy features to ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code, and advocate for best practices in machine learning engineering.
  

The Successful Applicant

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in Python, with a solid foundation in machine learning libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Flask,FastAPI etc..
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, such as Vertex AI, GKE, Dataflow, Big Query, Cloud SQL etc..
• Strong understanding of data structures, data modelling, and software architecture.
• Practical knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and manage multiple projects with various priorities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification in Google Cloud data engineering or machine learning.
• Experience in deploying machine learning solutions at scale.
• Background in statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
