The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), a premier facility under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has reopened its recruitment portal for several important teaching and technical positions under Advertisement No. 331. 🔎 Positions Open at ISRO

1️⃣ Post Graduate Teacher (Physics) – Post No. 1523 – 1 Vacancy

Revised Eligibility:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Integrated Post Graduate Course from an NCTE-recognized University in Physics with at least 50% aggregate marks (including B.Ed. component)
  • OR Master’s Degree in Physics or specialization in Physics with at least 50% aggregate marks, provided Physics was studied at the undergraduate level.
  • B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE-recognized institution with minimum 50% marks OR Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (3 years) OR Integrated degree (4 years) with 50% marks including B.Ed. component.
• Language Proficiency: Hindi & English.
• Desirable: Teaching experience, school work experience, and computer application knowledge.

2️⃣ Primary Teacher – Post No. 1524 – 1 Vacancy

Revised Eligibility:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary / Intermediate (Class XII) with at least 50% marks AND
    • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
    • 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
    • 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) from RCI.
• Training Requirement:
  • For D.Ed (Special Education) holders, a 6-month NCTE-recognized Special Programme must be completed after appointment.
• Other Requirements:
  • Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-I.
  • Proficiency to teach in both Hindi & English.
  • Desirable: Computer knowledge.

3️⃣ Sub Officer – Post No. 1525 – 1 Vacancy

Revised Eligibility:

• Educational Qualification & Experience:
  • Leading Fireman/Driver Cum Operators with 6 years experience and Sub-Officer’s certificate from NFSC, Nagpur OR equivalent training centers (Bangalore, Delhi, Lucknow, Goa, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Chennai)
  • OR B.Sc. (PCM), Sub Officer’s Certificate from NFSC, Nagpur, and 2 years experience as Leading Fireman post-certification.
• Other Requirements:
  • Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
  • Must meet prescribed physical fitness and efficiency standards.

🔢 Age Criteria

• Maximum Age: 35 years as on 09.04.2025.
• Relaxation: Applicable to Departmental candidates, Ex-Servicemen, Meritorious Sportspersons & Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per Government norms.
• ISRO Employees: Age limit not applicable.
