Eligibility Criteria: AirIndia Cabin Crew Walkin Drive

At Air India, we seek talented individuals who embody our core values and can contribute positively to our esteemed organization. To be considered for this role, you must be an Indian National holding a current Indian passport, PAN card, and Aadhar card. For freshers, the age requirement is between 18-27 years, while experienced crew members can apply up to the age of 35. As part of the eligibility criteria, you should have completed class 12 from a recognized board/university with a minimum of 50% marks.

Additionally, we require our female candidates to meet specific physical attributes, including a minimum height of 155 cm and a weight in proportion to height. A Body Mass Index (BMI) range of 18 to 22 is preferred, ensuring that our Cabin Crew members are in excellent health and fit to carry out their duties.

Maintaining a professional appearance is of utmost importance at Air India, which is why we require our Cabin Crew members to be well-groomed with no visible tattoos when in uniform. Proficiency in both English and Hindi is essential, as you will interact with a diverse range of passengers during your duties. Furthermore, possessing 6/6 vision is a key requirement to ensure the safety and well-being of our passengers.

On the Day:

As you prepare for the walk-in interview, please come dressed in Western formals, reflecting the elegance and professionalism that our Cabin Crew embodies. Make sure to bring an updated resume, showcasing your skills and experiences. For those with prior experience as Cabin Crew members, kindly carry a copy of your SEP cards to provide a complete profile during the selection process.

As a member of our esteemed Cabin Crew, your key responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks. Ensuring the safety and security of passengers during the flight will be your primary focus, requiring you to check safety equipment for availability and functionality, conduct safety demonstrations, and comply with all safety procedures throughout the flight. In the event of an emergency, you will be trained to perform first aid and coordinate emergency evacuations efficiently.

Beyond safety, your role will involve managing the inflight service, ensuring that guests are well-catered to during their journey. This includes pre-boarding tasks, such as checks on the availability of required food, beverages, and inflight amenity items. You will welcome and direct guests to their seats, assist with the storage of carry-on luggage, and conduct inflight sales and service.

Furthermore, maintaining the cleanliness and replenishment of aircraft cabins and toilets during flights will contribute to a pleasant travel experience. Your excellent communication skills will come into play as you make announcements and respond to guest queries, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the flight. Upon landing, your organization and coordination skills will ensure an orderly disembarkation of guests.

Administrative duties are also an essential part of your role, requiring you to attend mandatory pre-flight briefings to stay informed about important updates and procedures. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing reports on various flight incidents, including safety, service, and security incidents, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Selection Process:

Our selection process for Cabin Crew members is through walk-in interviews. On the 31st of July, 2023, we invite you to join us for the interview process. The walk-ins will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Essex Farms, 4 Aurobindo Marg, Opposite to IIT flyover Crossing, Next to Hauz Khas Metro Station, New Delhi-110016.
