Primary Responsibilities for Optum Software Engineer Job Role
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
- Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs
- Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features
- Maintain code integrity and organization
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications for Optum Software Engineer Job Opening for Freshers
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with front-end technologies like AngularJS
- Solid experience developing web applications on the Java platform (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web Services)
- Experience with Micro services
- Experience in Data Model design and implementation for solutions from high level requirement
- Hands-on technical knowledge Primarily on Java and SpringBoot
- Proficiency in applying object-oriented principles and recommended design patterns to create robust and scalable system designs.
- Proven comfortable to explore other technologies stack
