Responsibilities for Full-Stack SDE Internship by House of X
At House of X, responsibility is given based on competency rather than seniority. Therefore, you will be continually challenged to solve interesting problems in your day-to-day role as an intern.
- Work with the development team to build and maintain eCommerce platforms and applications using NextJS, React, React Native, React Query, MUI, NodeJS, Express, TypeScript, MySQL, Knex, Git, and GitHub.
- Designing and developing REST APIs
- Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of code.
- Work collaboratively with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to develop new features and improve existing ones.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies, and tools.
Requirements for Full-Stack SDE Internship by House of X
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience in building web applications using NextJS, React Query, MUI, NodeJS, and Express.
- Knowledge of MySQL and Knex.
- Experience in using Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Familiarity with other technologies such as Bash, Docker, React Native, AWS and so on is a bonus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications for Full-Stack SDE Internship by House of X
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Passion for technology and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
